Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 17, 1942. He got his name Muhammad Ali after going into the Nation of Islam. It was 1964 that Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. was openly announced by the Nation of Islam as Muhammad Ali. The Nation of Islam was widely seen by whites and even some African Americans as a black separatist "hate faith" with a tendency towards violence. Ali had couple of qualms about using his influential voice to speak Nation of Islam teaching.


Ali made his expert launching on October 29, 1960, winning a six-round decision over Tunney Hunsaker and continued to make marvels in the world of boxing, making him among the brightest stars in the sport. Ali battled for the last time on December 11, 1981 and lost in a 10 round choice. He currently had indications of being sick and plainly not his old self in the ring. His contribution to the sport of boxing was worldwide, boxing fans desired to be like him, "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee". He was a legend that every boxing lover will never ever forget. Ali was hospitalized in Scottsdale on June 2, 2016, with a breathing illness. Though his condition was at first referred to as "fair", his condition intensified and he died the following day at age 74 from septic shock. Septic shock is a life-threatening condition that takes place when your blood pressure drops to a dangerously low level after an infection.
